We've done the best foundations for day wear with medium coverage, and now it's onto day bases that provide full coverage. Not too surprisingly, these aren't as popular as our medium coverage foundation friends, but we do have two very good reliables to recommend.
One is Estee Lauder's famous Double Wear Stay in Place Makeup (left). So, who recommended this one? You lot! It's a firm fave with tons of our beaut.ie regulars who rate it as a foundation that goes on, stays on, and covers multitudes of sins. It's good for those with oily skins as it resists slippage, comes in 19 shades and has an SPF of 10. It's also easily available, which is a big plus.

Our second recommendation in this category is Cover FX Total Coverage Cream Foundation (right). A Canadian brand, it was developed by dermatologists to cover surgical marks, acne, rosacea and portwine birthmarks, but it now has a big crossover appeal due to the quality of the formulations, and Harvey Nicks in Dundrum are the proud posessors of a counter. There are other foundations available in the range, but Total Coverage contains a huge amount of pigment, meaning it's opaque on the skin, so it's great for those who feel they really need to conceal. Available in over 40 shades, it boasts an SPF of 30 and won't irritate sensitive skins.
