My paltry attempts can't hold a candle to the splendour of Lynnie's bling-tastic accent nail, and the last time I posted one of my dual-shade, creme-finished ones, a reader said "ah, Jesus. Grey nails? Fugeddaboudid."
BUT! I feel I must round a spirited defense. A year or so I'd have agreed with her and when Barry M was first out of the traps with a cement-inspired shade in 2007, I dubbed it 'deadhands'. Fickle yoke that I am, it's now 2010 and I bloody love it. YSL's limited-edition Stormy Grey La Laque ignited the passion, but it's one of Rimmel's new 60 Seconds polishes I've really taken to heart.

Above you can see Grey Matter, which is a total steal at €5.33. It's a really nice creme shade with no reflects, sparkle or anything else going on, with a hand-flattering blue tinge to it. A firm (manicured) thumbs up.
