Don't like the sound of Latisse, which uses Bimatoprost to encourage hair growth, and which was discovered as a side-effect of glaucoma treatment? Then you might be interested to hear about Ageless Lashes, from US cosmaceutical brand Image Skincare, winging its way to our shores as I type.
Comparable in price to Latisse at about €98, it's got a couple of things going for it that the former doesn't have: it comes as a liquid liner which you'd use in exactly the same way you'd use any liner - draw it above the lashline and it works to promote hair growth in about six weeks. It comes in four shades too - black, clear, brown and purple, and unlike Latisse, it can also be used on the lower lashline.

Ageless Lashes uses a follicle stimulator called Follicusan to encourage growth, as well as proteins and peptides, and will be available at salons and clinics including the new Renaissance Laser and Skin Clinic in Howth.
