Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have confirmed via a statement that they are to divorce after 10 years of marriage, and three children together.
"After much thought and careful consideration," a statement from the couple reads, "We have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time." Adding "This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding."
The couple met on the set of Pearl Harbour, where Garner had a small role. They then worked together as co-stars in Daredevil and a romance blossomed soon after.
