We were at Kiehl's flagship Irish store last night for the launch of a new skincare product. We get very excited at the mere whisper of the word 'Kiehl's' around here. After all, my favourite moisturiser of all time is Kiehl's Super Multi-Corrective Cream. My own jar of it would be doing wonders for my skin right now if my mother didn't keep stealing it...
So, yes, a new release from Kiehl's is a big deal! Allow us to be the first to introduce you to Kiehl's Micro-Blur Skin Perfector. For now, we can only sneak peek it and give you some basic details - there are only two tubes in Ireland, and they were squeezed thoroughly empty by the attendees of the launch!
The product itself is a bit of a hybrid. It's not a moisturiser, and even though you apply it last in your skincare routine before makeup, it's not a primer either! Kiehl's are insisting that it belongs firmly in the skincare category. On first examination, it seems a bit like Garnier's 5 Second Perfect Blur Primer, which seemed to get a mixed reaction.
When you look at the ingredients, though, this stuff gets a hell of a lot more desirable . The hero ingredient in this product is Lipo-Hydroxy Acid. LHA is wonderful for all skin types, improving skin tone and texture. It's a real friend to oily, congested skin though.

LHA works on clogged pores to remove dirt and blockages. The primer-like consistency of this product promises to blur the appearance of pores while the key ingredients get to work. Kiehl's promise a visible improvement after four weeks of use.
We don't have pricing information for you yet, but we do know that Kiehl's Micro-Blur Skin Perfector will hit shelves in June. Are you intrigued, and does this sound like something you want to add to your skincare arsenal? To the comments!
