This morning, beaut.ie went on a family day out to see the new Kate Moss for Topshop Collection in BT2. I hadn't even had my first coffee of the day when the doors opened, and anyone who knows me knows that I am an amoeba-like blob without my caffeine.
But once inside the door, I was zipping around the floor like Speedy Gonzales. The first thing I noticed was the suede and the leather pieces - they smell divine (up there with fresh-cut grass and petrol in my favourites - don't judge) and they are buttery soft.
And we thought that you might like to check out a few of the pics that we took this morning.
When Kate turned up in the window of the Oxford St store last night to unveil the collection and to sing a little ditty, the streets were thronged with people hoping to catch a glimpse of her. 'Twas more like a St. Patrick's Day parade than a fashion launch.
Sizes in the collection range from 6 to 16,and these pieces (in particular the leather jackets and the so-short-I-can-see-what-you-had-for-your-breakfast shorts) are going to be sported by festival fashionistas at every event in this season's calendar.

And it ensures that fringing will, yet again, be THE trend of the big days out, so expect to see the high street flooded with fringed options this summer.
There was no Mossy in attendance in Dublin this morning, just a few happy and fashionable mice shouting 'Arriba' and 'Yeehaw!' (while sniffing jackets). But don't worry, we've deleted those photos.
Tell us, are you tempted by what you've seen so far in this collection? Do you think collaborations are a good idea? And what are you looking forward to in the fashion calendar?
