Is it a bird?! Is it a plane?!! NO, IT'S A MINI CAPE! Or a "cocktail cape" or a "capelet" depending on what fashion outlet you're scanning a peeper over. Either way, the internet is ablaze with plaudits for Angelina's choice of shoulder fodder at her London premiere for war film 'Unbroken' last night.
According to Us Magazine, her "50's inspired ensemble" came complete with a "structured topper" (not everyone has to use words with 'cape' in it), by Ralph & Russo Couture. And damn it, we love it.
Now, given we're knocking on December's door, and it was about three degrees in London last night, it was still a daring enough outfit. Perhaps a slightly larger knitted cape would've been more cosy, but then again she may have been torn between swaddling her upper half or her shins. Those pins of her look freezing…we just want to give her a pair of woolly tights.
Angelina's co-star Jack O'Connell was in slightly less regal form, getting on down with fans and generally thrusting his crotch around with abandon.
