Frontcover Cosmetics are a brilliant British brand that deserve a lot of love. Relatively new - they launched in 2008 - the brand boasts excellent quality and products that are bang on trend.
You may have seen them in Boots at one stage but sadly, they're no longer available on Irish shores. All's not lost though - they can be bought direct, via the Frontcover site. It's well worth a look - they produce clever little kits with step-by-step guides, that allow you to replicate the latest catwalk looks.
And the best bit? The prices are incredible. Take the Pencils + Polish kit the brand sent me; inspired by the colour blocking trend, this has no less than eight super saturated eye and nail products - for the grand total of £16 (prices are all in sterling on the site). Other sets include Matte & Metallic, Colour of the Season and Sunlit Metals - they're all priced between £12 and £18.

I love the colours in this kit. You get a bright orange, turquoise, yellow and purple nail polish and chunky eye pencil - these are satisfying my cravings til Clinique launch their Chubby Sticks for eyes. They're cute and fun to use - not to mention creamy, pigmented and with great staying power. The purple is a little patchy compared to the smoothness of the other three shades - it works better as a base or liner, rather than all over the lid.
The polishes are fab - two coats is enough for a cheery, streak-free punch of colour and wear time is pretty decent, too. You can wear them separately or as the brand suggests, try an accent nail or a contrasting tip, for a modern version of the French.
These kits are an easy way to try out current trends, without spending a fortune in the process. I'll deffo be keeping a close eye out for new releases from the brand. Will you be joining me in checking out the site?
