Lots of glossy goodies are incoming from Nars for spring and we'll see the new colour collection on counter and at NarsCosmetics.eu from February. A palette of jewelled earth tones, apparently, there's quite a lot of brights and variation here actually and I want at least 90% of it to come home to me so I can hug it to my bosom and go "squeeee!"
Shall we take a look at what's what? Ah go on. We will.
Lips are treated to three juicy-looking glosses. Nana, a deep grape shade, is a limited edition and the other pair of lip slickers are Super Orgasm and Angelika. They're €25 each.
Lipstick-wise, it's all really nude and barely-there: Tzigane Lipstick is limited, and it's joined by one of the new Pure Matte lipsticks in Madère. I haven't had a chance to check this new formulation out yet but would love to - I do enjoy a Nars lippy, me. Again, €25 for these.

There are also some very nice-looking eye products en route. Two shadow duos - one limited edition - will be available. They are Bateau Ivre (left and limited) and Nouveau Monde (right). Each is €34 and the more Nars shadows I try the more I realise that while the duo shades often seem a bit askance in the pan, when you see them and swatch the textures and see how they blend into each other, they generally work excellently. Melusine, from the Christmas collection, is a case in point. It'd be interesting to see what the Nouveau Monde colours are like in the flesh - described as "metallic silver lilac and rich olive gold", mmm, they sound really nice.
Going on the pix, I'm imagining that the Bateau Ivre shades are more matte. "Rich sky blue and a deep denim hue that can be applied wet or dry, alone or layered," is the gen on the pair.
Nars debuted a trio shadow for the first time with Okinawa from the Christmas lineup and there's a new limited edition triple whammy in the spring range too. This is Calanque and it's €42. Inspired by the shades of ancient river mouths - bear with me - found in the Massif des Calanques in the Bouches-du-Rhone region of France, this is a "trio of sun-washed shades—gold-infused platinum with silver flecks, light matte caramel and rich antique bronze steeped with gold."
And here's the last lot of goodies: two Soft Touch Shadow Pencils in Celebrate (left) Hollywoodland (middle) are €21 each. While Celebrate is a nice staple shade, it's Hollywoodland that has me going "ooooooOOoooh". I LOVE the look of this shade and can completely imagine using it in a graphic flick across the upper lashline. Delish.
Lastly, lets talk about that nail polish, shall we? It's called Desperado, it's €18 and it's billed as "an antique brass-hued Nail Polish that evokes the drama of the outlaws from the American frontier."

Right so. It's a brave shade, isn't it? And that's me being kind about it.
What do you think? Could you possibly imagine this on your nails or is it actually completely gick? To the comments!
