We've already taken a look at Chanel's really rather fab SS11 collection, Les Perles de Chanel, and there's quite a bit more incoming from the brand in the new year, including a boxfresh foundation. Vitalumiere Aqua, €38, will debut from 14th January 2011 and is a new addition to the Vitalumiere line so many already adore.
This one's got some interesting bits and bobs going on: a light-diffusing complex inspired by plasma screens (no, really), is designed to give a soft and flattering finish and sounds very much like it'll tick the 'my skin but better' box.
The aqua designation in the product title tells a story too.

Including lotus water to activate microcirculation, hyaluronic acid to intensively moisturise and plump skin and a brown seaweed derivative to revitalise skin, the key message with this is hydration, hydration, hydration. I am getting the impression that it's oil-free, thanks to the fact it's essentially a water-in-silicone formula, but I haven't seen an ingredients list yet so can't confirm that inkling for sure.
What I can say is while this'd previously have put dry-skinned me off, after the success of Max Factor Xperience foundation, which is absolutely excellent on my skin and which contains no oil, I'm really keen to give Vitalumiere Aqua a try. An added SPF 15 finishes off the product's features, and it'll come in eight shades.
