She eats my food, uses me as an electric blanket and bosses me around. But I'M the clever one? Even I don't believe that
Research by boffins in Oxford University has found that dogs appear to be more intelligent than cats. This research seems to be based on the idea of brain size - dogs have bigger brains and therefore the researchers think they must be more intelligent. Dogs are more sociable, love to live in a gang and are more biddable than cats - which the researches feel must mean that they think more and have developed their brains more over time.
Oh come on! No freakin way I say. Dogs are gorgeous of course - but they are a bit thick. Cats brains didn't need to grow big - they were already clever.
