Ok, in fairness you're unlikely to want to wear turquoise on your lips. Or cheeks. (Unless, that is, your name's Lady GaGa, in which case you're probably thinking about wearing it on both, and possibly simultaneously.) But while that peacock blue hue is popping up all over the place and is bang on trend for Spring/Summer 2010, it can be a bit of a daunting colour to wear.
Super, super bright, and turquoise products are usually highly pigmented.
However, there is a dead easy way to work turquoise into your look: with a simple slick of eyeliner. This is my very favourite way to try a new-to-you colour or one you're just not convinced about. While you can of course wear it on the upper lid as normal, I absolutely love me a pop of turquoise worn along the lower lashline instead, a la Nanette Lepore at New York Fashion Week.

Use a gel or liquid liner for a really crisp, defined look, or go with with a smudgy pencil or eyeshadow for a subtle, less structured take on the trend.
