Ok, showing my age here: I was a teenager in the late 80s, early 90s, and as such, fell prey to the fad for 'power scents'.
It wasn't uncommon for me to be drowned in various concoctions of evil-smelling perfume like Lou Lou and Eden (curse you Cacharel), though Body Shop Primrose/Fuzzy Peach/Dewberry also got their turn. Truly teenagers today don't know they're born, with so much decent stuff to choose from etc moan etc.
