Recently, I am lalalala-loving navy on de eyes. I took myself into Brown Thomas on Good Friday for an Easter treat, and made purchase of a Long Wear Gel Liner at the Bobbi Brown Counter in Sapphire Shimmer. I love these babies - they've totally taken over from MAC Fluidline as my top liner. Great consistency, easy workability and true, highly pigmented colours add up to 10/10 for me.
On to the navy. For day I don't tend to make up my eyes with anything other than liner and mascara, but for night I do add a bit of depth. What I choose to wear with navy liner was a bone coloured shadow base with a taupe shadow well blended in the crease.
That didn't fight with the navy colour at all, but did add some definition. The result was - how shall I say this modestly? - bleedin' gorgeous. Great on brunettes like me, navy is also a great choice for blondes if you feel black is just too harsh on your colouring. I finished my look with pink blush and lips, but neutrals would be equally as nice - and they're ideal for day too.
