Loco - there are going to be weeks you stay the same, weeks you're down a half and weeks you're down two pounds. I know it is disheartening but you have to think about it as the weight didn't all go on over three weeks so it won't come off that quick. Be happy that you're staying the same and not up. Are you due No Baby Time soon? That can make a difference. You will see it next week. Don't give up now.

Give yourself a monthly goal of 4lbs to be down. You will more than likely go over that each month but it is achievable once you follow the programme. Also - you might actually be plateauing at the moment, I did it for two months...I either stayed the same or lost a half or put the half on...it was the most annoying two months of my life (until I let my fat LMW out at Christmas - the past two months are bloody annoying too). The difference for me was running twice a week - before that my exercise was literally walking everywhere. Once I started running I hit goal within 4 weeks - so I am beginning running again next week (hopefully).

Don't be too hard on yourself. It's a long process but you can do it!

macfantic - good to hear you're back on track, I was thinking the same as you - spending money to put weight on.

Gossipgal - Yoo Moo is so good. Yum.

litlemisswonders thanks a mil for the lists, I'm going to print them off and keep them beside me.
Great idea too of the 4lbs a month goal... I think it's more than manageble and good to have a goal in sight.

I'm UP 2 & 1/2 this week. I had tears in my eyes in class, I really tried hard this week, ate well but the few crappy things kept creeping back in. Like the chocolate bars and the crisps. I had the M&S sour cream and lentil curls ( I think they're 2ppts a pack and are delicious) but sure I ate the 6 packets over the week just cause they were there. The bread is really a killer for me too, once I start I can't stop.

Im in a vicious cycle at the moment, upset that I cannot run and exercise, turning to food and then getting more miserable at not losing weight. Something has got to give and the food is the obvious target.
Like I know where I'm going wrong yet I'm not doing anything about it??? Ridiculous or what.

Flowerpower, I have decided that I'm just not buying the crap anymore. It's not doing me any favours. If I want something bad I will have to make it. It's what I did last year when I first started WW so I will begin again now. Its the only way. I will be back at meetings from Wednesday too, I don't care if I have to pay for six weeks, it's cheaper than buying a new wardrobe again. My birthday is in 7 weeks and I have clothes that I have only worn once so my goal is to fit into one of them for my birthday night out - so I need to lose at least 10pounds in those seven weeks - but my main plan is walking to and from work every day. It will be a 9k walk altogether but it will make such a difference, plus if I plan on going for a walk in the evenings anyways what is the difference in adding an extra 20 minutes each way onto what I already walk!

Well that's the plan today anyways, god knows how I will break tomorrow! But I do find that if I buy it, I will eat it....it sounds really obvious but if I don't have the stuff in the house I don't get the craving to go and get them!

Also - cappucinos are 2pp! I don't usually drink them but am about to make them my after dinner treat!

Flowerpower, I REALLY feel for you, totally understand what you're going through!

A bit disappointed after all my hard work this week, I only lost half a pound, was really hoping for a bit more! I know it's a loss, but I was just expecting more.

Having to pay again is a real bummer, but totally worth it if it saves buying a new wardrobe. You've plenty of time to get back into your dresses for your birthday, and it'll be a great incentive to stick at it! But paying again really feels like having failed!

As for rubbish, I find it quite difficult because the other half likes to have treats in the house all the time, but just need extra strong willpower not to have any sneaky tastes. I've been keeping my treats till last thing after my dinner to save me from being tempted during the day, I've been having a curly wurly and cadburys highlights (4pp altogether) and if you put the curly wurly in the freezer it takes forever to eat!

Thanks Macfanatic...my bf is the same, big on the sweet things at the moment! I'm trying to avoid them but he keeps buying them. I'll have to have a word! It wasn't till we were going out a couple of months that we got comfy and started buying all the crap...It will be torture going back and admitting I have put on a stone, but if I don't go back now that stone will become two, then three and all my hard work will be gone! i've done it before, i can do it again! It's all about the right choices and admitting I do have a problem when it comes to food - but I am not going to be the whingebag I seem to have been on here lately! I will do it :D

Ha my treats are now a French Fancy and a cappucino (5pp)...that's all I bought in the shopping yesterday while he bought taytos, pistachios and loads of sweets....we're officially moving in together in two weeks though so I will have to do the shopping alone to make sure this doesn't keep happening!

Here's to a good week everyone!x

Thanks LMWs - I just thought that in my first 4 weeks that I would have a weight loss of about 7lbs, not a measly 2lbs. Considering I was so good tracking everything and keeping to my points.

And I started Wednesday morning after weighed last week going to be all positive and then I went out for dinner and did the dog and all.
Then Friday headed to Lahinch for surfing and drank and ate way too much so this week is pretty much a right off. I'm trying to be really good for the next 2 days. I'll still weigh in on Wednesday morning I'll be up I've probably wiped out the 2lbs I've lost.
Would it be possible for people to say how many points the on average spend on Breakfast/lunch/dinner and then snacks????
Or what the eat or do ye save points for the weekend??? or eat a few extra every day??
Does everybody eat all 26(x7) and 49 points ?? Sorry for all the questions

Loco:

breakfast
Cereal with skimmed milk 5pp
Banana
Apple

Lunch
WW ready meal between 6-9pp (they are so handy for my work, otherwise I wouldn't bother, although I do actually love the taste of them now)
Banana
WW yoghurt 1pp

Dinner
This depends really but its generally something around 10pp - omlette with salad, salmon / trout / chicken with wedges or baby potatoes and veg; pasta; chicken curry.

I don't do the 26pp thing, but I might have to.

The best thing to do is go to the weigh in, you could be pleasantly surprised! I am going back myself and wish I hadn't missed pretty much 2 months!

I do use all my weeklies at the moment but hoping to cut back on that too!

LMWs- thank you so much, you're great.

So you kind of divide it to about 5, 10 & 10 . I'm doing similarly myself. I do use some of the points for a cuppa and 2 biscuits when I'm watching TV. And I use a couple of weeklies each day but tend to use most of my weeklies on Fri/Sat/Sun.

I was very good yesterday and went for an hour long power walk last night, I'll do the same today and weigh-in on Wednesday morning and hopefully I just stay the same.

If I don't start to lose in the next couple of weeks I'll have to start going to class along with doing it on-line .

Weighing in tonight. I started 2 weeks ago, last week I weighed in only half a pound down, it was very disheartening, but I have kept my chin up and I didn't quit. I *think* I've been good this week.... will update later this evening. My OH says he wants to join to support me, so I'm delighted with this, it'll encourage me further.
