Hi all,

need some help I started doing WW online (can't make classes) 3 weeks ago, using the iphone app to point etc so being very good tracking,
I have 26 pts per day and the 49 per week. I do pilates one evening a week and try to get for walks at lunch or in the evening.

First week I lost 1.5, next week 0.5 and this week I stayed the same.
I'm eating all my points pretty much, give or take a 5 or so. I have stone and half to lose. I assumed that in my first week or 2 I could lose 4/5 lbs.
This is what used to happen me on the old plan. Didn't expect to only be losing 2 lbs in 3 weeks.

Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Anybody else have trouble at the start, I'm getting so disheartened
thinking of reducing how much I use of my weeklies to see if that helps. But don't know if thats a goos idea??

thanks

@ Loco

In my weight watchers meeting my leader has said that sometimes when you haven't got huge changes (like full fat to low fat milk, getting rid of butter/spread, giving up sugar in tea etc) to make in the first few weeks that it can be a bit slow to start. I'd say stick at it, and see how things go, but try and up your water intake and be careful with the amount of fruit you're eating.

Loco - it is going to be a slow process. When I first did WW I expected it all to be off in a matter of weeks - it took me almost a year to lose just over three stone when I finally got into the right mind frame. Keep doing it the way you are, next week you will probably be down 1lb if not more. Some weeks you will stay the same, but the most important thing to remember is you might be staying the same weight but you are 2lbs lighter than three weeks ago. As Macfanatic said, sometimes the small changes are the ones that make a difference. Have you gone from sugar to a sweetener or reduced fat milk?

I myself am now at 11.7stone...I should be at 10.4 (well 10.8 to be at goal). My work clothes are getting extremely tight but thank the lucky stars I cannot afford to buy any crap food for the next two weeks as I have just paid the deposit on an apartment and I am going on holidays in three weeks - actually I do have the money for crap food, just about - but I'm actually using it to buy veg instead for with my dinner! Never thought I would see the day where a dinner without veg wasn't appealing to me!

I thought when I lost the weight that I would never let myself put it back on but a new relationship has brought back all the old kinks I thought were long gone...the fat me is still in there trying to get out :D

Best of luck this week everyone, we can do this :D

@ littlemisswonders

God that's some list thanks!

I think I'm in the same boat as you at the moment. I'm finding maintenance really tough, I'm 8.5lbs above goal and it's driving me insane! I've been struggling since Christmas and it's a bloody nightmare! I feel like whatever I do it's not working! I've been doing plenty of exercise and eating well, drinking lots of water etc. I'm being really strict this week though I'm doing 26 propoints per day and I'll see how it goes but I'll be really disappointed if it's not a success!

Macfanatic - thanks so much I was so down after staying the same. I'll up my water and watch how much fruit I'm eating. Did an extra Pilates class too this week.

litlemisswonders -you are a wonder that is some list. Skips are only 2 pp happy days.

I probably was expecting too much too soon. Having done WW before I don't have massive changes to make as I already drink skimmed milk, don't eat much crap. I actually think I eat pretty well in the main but it's portion sizes and snacking that I need to get under control.
I started at 10,1 and my goal is 8,7, I'm very short only 5ft2 always wished I could be a tall-ie and I wouldn't have so many weight problems.

Macfanatic, I've been struggling since Christmas too - I thought I was invincible and could eat what I wanted again and now its piled back on...I now have one stone to lose to get back to where I was and I will do it. I'm getting myself back into the right frame of mind, and I am going back to my meeting next week whether I have to pay or not...I didn't spend a year of my life losing weight and nearly €500 to put it back on!

Loco - you've done it already, you can do it again! Do you run? That helped me with the last half a stone when I was getting to goal, I'm restarting couch to 5k next week to get me going.

Best of luck everyone! x
