Broadway False Nails

Postby SmileLucySmile » Wed May 09, 2012 10:30 pm

Hi beaut.ies

I was just curious as to shape my broadway nails. Should I shape them before I apply them, or after?

They're the fast french deceptions in short.

I'm also debating on whether to do them tonight, or tomorrow, after I wash and dry my hair. I've never had any trouble washing my hair with them (I've actually found my hair to be cleaner as I can't scrub my scalp with my fingertips. Instead, using the pads of my fingers, as apparently, you should?). But anyway, I don't know whether to risk it.

Hi lucysmile,
I'd usually do any shaping when they're on the finger - although the short ones don't always need it I find. It's easier shape them on the hand so you get the shape right and also they've some resistance. Just wait until the glue is fully dry.
I'd always put them on after doing my hair to be honest...its the fear of getting wet hair stuck between the real and the false nail...ouch & ah me hair!!
