Hi Snowdrop - aw, I sympathise, I think we've all felt like that at some stage. I'm STILL not back in my pre-pregnancy weight and sometimes it gets me down and I could come up with million excuses but excuses don't help anyone. You need to pick yourself up and ask yourself do you want to go on feeling the way you do? If you don't do anything now, how will you feel in a year's time? If you start today and sort yourself out, how will you feel? It's true we're all busy etc etc but to be honest, most of us waste an awful lot of time on non-productive things. See where you can make some time for yourself to sit down for half an hour or hour and plan your meals for the next week. Then go online to the tesco website and order your weekly shop. It's easy. First time it might take you longer but once you get into a good routine it's quick. Then see where you can fit in some activities. If nothing else, get yourself a pedometer and start walking more, taking stairs etc. You just need half an hour of exercise a day to start with, 5 times a week. Get up an hour earlier if you have to.
I wrote this article recently (I know it's for a parenting website but it should help anyone who struggles to find time to be healthy) http://www.meetmums.ie/blog/healthy-liv ... e-top-tips it might help you.
Then, start thinking positive and celebrate your small achievements. You can do it. Stop eating sugar, now! It's the best thing you can do to yourself, sugar really makes me feel low, lethargic and sorry for myself. YOu'll find you sleep better and hence have more energy to do stuff when you're awake.
Hope this helps. You can do it!!
