In search of the Holy Grail - Hair Colourist

New to the site and looking for recommendations on hair colourists please? Is it just me or is it like finding the Holy Grail???!!!
Have been attending a well-known salon on the Northside of Dublin for the past couple of years. Always left feeling a bit disappointed with service. I made the mistake of complaining that I didn’t like what they had done once and don’t think I have ever been forgiven! Lol. Currently have dip-dyed hair and want to go back to naturalish brown with maybe some highlights….problem is everytime I have asked for anything to do with brown, it always turn out burgundy (lovely rich colour - they keep saying) and I hate red-browns!

All suggestions welcome.

Also am currently paying €120ish for colour and cut (although it’s really just a trim – long hair with fringe) and want to stay in this price range.

the hot house hair and beauty in Clondalkin is amazing.. Ive been going there for years, theyre to kind and will do what you want, if they think it will work, i know its a bit away but totally worth the journey!

Where abouts are you based? We could easy give you the names of places but they'd not be much use if you aren't close to them.
