Depilation pads... Any good?

Well I think that's the official name for them! It appears to me like some kind of fine sandpaper. These have been around a long time but I still don't know anyone who has bought one to find out it if it's worth spending the €7.95! Can anyone shed any light?

These look like the SilkyMitt things that they have in Boots. If memory serves they are a lot cheaper in Boots. I haven't used them in years but they do smooth stubble and make legs super smooth. I stopped using them because I was concerned for my skin as these things do resemble sandpaper. They are completely painless to use though and v quick.
