It's really simple - it's a place to swap all your unwanted beauty products. It's green, it's clean and it's totally Beaut.ienomical.
It's free and there are no hidden catches. This is how it works:
- -You buy (or get as a pressie) an object of beaut.ie. A cleanser, a moisturiser, some perfume, hair stuff, makeup, whatever.
-Then you decide it's not for you. It might not suit your skin etc.
-You can't bring it back cos you've used some of it. But it cost a fortune...
-So swap it! Someone else would love it - and you've got a chance to get something you'd really love.
-Post up your product, or make someone else an offer.
-You get rid of the product you don't want and in exchange you get one you DO want. It's a win-win!
What can I swap?
Beauty products ONLY - brand new in boxes or very slightly used, or lightly tested. Good quality stuff: basically makeup and cosmetics you'd be happy to get yourself. Swap Siopa is perfect for unwanted gifts or things you bought and used once or twice before realizing they brought you out in a rash/make you look like a tangerine etc.
What can't I swap?
- -Used mascaras, lipgloss or liquid eye liners. Anything that has a wand type applicator that comes in contact with eyes or lips/mouth. Like UGH people. We don't care if they do this on other forums, it's not happening here. You can of course swap these products if they are brand new, boxed or unopened.
-No samples AT ALL. You must state clearly the amount of product in your swap (100ml etc).
-Cheap crap that you went out and bought expressly for the purpose of swapping. (Puts on Mr T Voice). This means you ain't gonna be gettin no Eve Lom for Pennys makeup. We mean it. Now you ain't trickin me into getting on no plane.... (whack).
Treat others as you want to be treated
Above all, as Jesus said, treat others as you would like to be treated. Well if not him, then Santa sees everything. Just be nice, honest - and prompt - and everyone will be happy.
