LauraLou - you'll be fabulous I'm sure. I have 5.5 months until I need to be beach ready for a wedding in Spain. I am going to start with 30DS and her Yoga Melt down and work up to 6 week 6 pack in Feb/March. I'm not focusing on my weight as much as I just want to be toned. If I was not much smaller than I am now but not flabby like I am now, I would be happier. :) Must.stay.focused!!

Going back to SW tonight, need a good kick up the arse food-wse and it'll do it, I've gotten awful bad at just eating off the deli in work, which would be fine if I was picking the healthier bits but its the worst of bits cos I've been so knackered and the crap food wouldn't be helping the auld energy levels.

Hello ladies,

I'm off up to the boyfriends for a day of eating and chilling, going to make soup of some sort and then roast chicken, cauliflower and cheese bake and potato wedges for dinner later on - all allowed on SW with only 2.5 syns for the cauliflower bake when done the SW way, yippee :D Hoping the weigh-in goes well tomorrrow, fingers crossed...

How is everyone getting on?

Hey Geegee

Glad SW is going well for you, your dinner sounds gorge. :D
Gym is going well for me . . . .sticking to my plan and went 4 times last week. bit run down atm after studying and not sleeping, so have been sick since last wednesday and completely sapped of energy, so taking a few days off to have a bit of r&r.

Diet isn't going great. Now in fairness I never had a bad diet to begin with. I have fully balanced and sustainable diet, with the right amounts of fruit, veg, protein, carbs and fats. I rarely eat takeout . . . last time i had a mcdonalds was last October. Its just choc . . .it has always has been my vice. And now that I'm run down I have been back on it nomming away like no-ones business. I don't crave for it or anything, its just as an energy boost (counter-productive really, as it only provides a short burst of energy). But reckon once I'm back to myself again, I won't even reach for it.

Hope everyone else is going ok?
Anyone doing a personalised plan at the gym?! If so, how are you finding it?

Snowdrop - you poor pet, I used to eat so badly in college when assignments or exams were on top of me and I completely get you on the chocolate, its my go-to energy boost too, when I know myself a banana or something would give the boost so much easier and for longer without as much of a crash.

Try freezing curly wurlys or freddo bars for making the chocolate last longer as you're eating it, plus its extra delicious cold! Or melt some and dip fruit in it, yum!

Was planning to do a fitness test and get a personalised plan during the week but milled myself outside of Tesco last night and am currently banjaxxed, whole left side of me is wrecked so I'll have to wait until I can take off my ankle strap and my arm strap (nothing majorly injured, just bruised, sore and sprained ankle) before I can do any kind of proper exercise, once I have the food alright I don't mind a week or two held off from the gym.

gee gee you poor devil with that fall - mind yourself. Must say that cauliflower cheese bake sounds delish!
Good for you with the gym plan snowdrop, sounds like its going well.
I'm not doing that but def back on the c25k bandwagon combined with some sport and an odd day of 30DS. Had a bad exercise week last week cos i was working 12/13 hour days all week; the food was ok though. Back exercising now though, did week4D1 last night of C25k, also did a walk/jog sat (somewhere in btw wk 3 and 4 of C25k...kinda made up my own!) as well as sport fri night. hopefully i can maintain the exercise buzz this week!

Happy weekend ladies,

How are ye all? Three weigh-ins done at SW, 9lbs lighter so far, dunno how Monday will go, been a mental fortnight for me, had 2lbs off last Monday but RAG week was this week and I was running and racing like a lunatic in work with all the drunken/hungover students - more than a few bad choices this week because of that and add in the 10-11 hour long shifts at work well blah...

Fair play Geegee! You're doing really well :D

I need help . . . . . PRONTO! I feel things have gone to the wayside the last while, in terms of both fitness and diet . . . So pissed off with myself. My college work is insane, and sometimes all I ever think about, seems like my life revolves around it :( and I work part time as well, so I feel that time is taken up by that also . . . so have no time to go to the gym as much or meal plan!. I know i should make time, but sometimes it's hard to juggle.

have been back on the chocolate majorly the last week or so as well . . . as in big time . . . a big choc binge. I know i should stop, but its so difficult to go cold turkey

But thats not even the half of it . . . . the real stinger is my wardrobe (shallow I know). But I LOVE clothes, nay I ADORE clothes. Ever since I was really young I've been obsessed with trends and seasonal style. And in the few years, I've acquired some really nice clothes, and it depresses me when putting them on and they're tight (or worse still.....don't fit at all :( ).

Sorry for ranting, but it's getting me down somewhat . . really need a kick up the :D
