Down 0.5lb this week, joined classes last wednesday and had great plans to be really good. But then I had a really great social life for the next 4 days so pointing was quite difficult. Tried to pull it back then so happy enough with 0.5lb loss. Going away this weekend but determined to do better. Anyone know how many points in Corona , Miller , Bud etc

Wow LMW you are a legend. I must check out that blog .
I'm finding it very hard to get my head into the propoints system.
I just hope if I keep at it that I'll become second nature.

Loco, that blog is brilliant for all things propoints - the author is still at WW and hasn't reached goal yet but she is working at it and is a total inspiration, she is living it the same as everyone else...

I think I got to comfortable when I began going out with himself last October and slowly slipped back into bad habits so will have to make a concious effort to up the exercise and decrease the treats - they can't be treats if I have them everyday :D

Stayed the same, 12.01. UGH. I drank so much over the weekend but I tried so hard with my food... porridge for breakie, wraps and full chicken breast and salad for lunch and then good dinners (chill con carne, donegal catch, the lightly dusted plaice from M&S) So overall have been doing quite well. Still can't exercise though.

Still laughing at the class discussion last night, about Barbecues, what you would normally eat & how you could go prepare. Someone said they'd bring soup to a bbq and wraps and their own salad dressing ... is it just me, or is that just a bit much?? It would make sense bringing your own low pp sausages etc and eating 0pp before you go so you're full.
Anyone bring stuff with them when going to friends houses etc?

Thanks littlemisswonders for this brilliant list!

I had lost 1.5lbs the week before last, then I weighed in last week and had put exactly the 1.5lbs back up - I was in complete denial, until I realised I had drank ALOT on one of the nights over the weekend helping celebrate something with friends - I never think of the alcohol in terms of propoints so no wonder I put it up.

This week I've been very very good, sticking to calculating my propoint totals every day. and exercising... so hopefully I'll be down (will actually be disappointed)

No problems Glitterlamp!

There is no way I would bring soup to someone's house! Salad dressing maybe, if I ate that, but beyond that no...maybe some salady stuff or low pointed chicken stuff..but she's definitely dedicated whoever she is!

Glitterlamp - isn't the drink just a killer? I'm good starting off, then have the one to many and forget my ways completely (thanks to the drink). I'm going to stop having the "odd glass" . I'm only going to drink with purpose LOL

Speaking of salady stuff lmw, anybody tried the Coucous and chick pea with roasted veg salad on the WW uk site? Highly recommend it, very tasty with the mint and lemon zest. Going to have it for my lunch today and tomorrow with some chicken.

The broken record is now up 3lbs after going back to WW last night and is definitely back on the wagon this time... I cannot keep saying I am and not doing anything...I will be good from now on...goodbye Chinese, goodbye fast food, goodbye multipacks!

Glitterlamp, I have two WW cookbooks at home that haven't had their spines cracked yet..I should really start and be more adventurous! I'm doing Chicken in a bag tonight, does anyone know what the bag is? I think it 1pp??? It is just spices, so 4pp for the chicken, 4pp baby potatoes and then all the veg is free - correct me if I am wrong!

YES!!! And my problem is, at the start I would never even put it into my weekly allowance, I mean after all, it's liquid, so what harm could it be doing!! I'm not the biggest socialite, therefore, when I do go out I go mad (by gaining 1.5lbs apparently!)

Good news though, after being good all week, exercising & NO alcohol, I lost 2lbs :) I've now dropped down 1 propoint value....

That all sounds good to me. :) I only discovered recently that garden peas have 1pp per 35g, I was actually disappointed to learn this, I had just assumed all veg was free.. a little shocked. :(
I love to cook, and my other half is doing WW's with me, so we both take a night each to cook, and it keeps us on track.. my favorite is Chicken with light philadelphia & red pesto wrapped in parma ham. The whole thing is 8pp's and is sooooooo delicious and filling. :) I will have it with a salad, or go mad and have 4 potato croquettes for 7pp's and some carrots - it's altogether a very satisfying 15pp's :)
