That does sound good Glitterlamp. The chicken in a bag was lovely last night, I swapped the potatoes for wedges, and it was a really filling meal for 9pp, it also meant I had points left for a couple of drinks ;) when I first started WW properly last year I would only ever allocate the 49pp to my night out, regardless of if I went over or under, although back then I was good for sticking to my dailies so it wasn't an issue as such.

I will definitely open up the cookbook this weekend, I can't just leave it sitting there and I need to start getting a bit more adventurous in what I am cooking, otherwise dinners will just be a total bore.

Glitterlamp - what's this chicken philli pesto you speak ok?
LMW - is that the knorr chicken season & shake? I like the med chicken one, you put tomatoes in it and roast veg. Nice way to cook the chicken.

Down 2 pounds this week, hip hip horray. Helped along by the vomitting bug. Down to 28 points now, doesn't really count with filling and healthy though.
So back to the grind this week, had 0 ppt soup. Need to stop eating the choccies

LMW - what about those cookbooks, any luck?

Down 1.5lb this week, I chickened out of going to class last week. I had such a terrible week but I worked hard to pull it back this week so was delighted with my loss. Going away for the weekend again so going to have to work hard to keep propoints in check.

Hi ladies!
I'm a long time lurker on the forum.. i'm in weight watchers just over a year actually and have to say reading your posts and advice has been great whenever i've got a bit stuck (which has been alot!!) anyway, i've lost 1 stone, 13lbs, reached goal 3 weeks ago.. was up a 1 1/2 the first week of maintenance and then have been at a music festival in spain for my last 2 meetings so with the few barrels of heineken i went through i can't imagine things being that great when i do get back to it next tuesday! anyone have any advice for maintaining? i'm really struggling with it.. don't think i'd be too worried about the holiday weight if i hadn't been up the 1 1/2 before i went!.. i'm really really thinking maybe i just won't go back and then i won't have failed with maintaining!! :? would love any input!

Shedrawspictures - get your ass back now....I hit goal back in October - I lost another half a stone then before Christmas. Christmas hit and there was two weeks without a weigh in, I put up a bit of weight so didn't really go back till end of January and then didn't go but once a month. I am now up almost two stone, one and half over goal....go back now and just keep going every week. It will be hard, but don't get into the mindset of thinking you can eat like before. That's where I fell down big time.

Right ladies, I am useless at it now....I am prepaying next week as I haven't been in two weeks, and I cannot keep on the way I am. I cannot skip weeks, I need to lose a stone in the next six weeks.....UGH!!!!

Also - toffeepops are 2pp, as are Nice Creams!

Thanks littlemisswonders, I need a kick up the arse, I know.. i tend to avoid situations where I think I might fail, but feck it, i've gotten this far, just keep ploughing on now! :)

Bought a 4 pack of ww's crinkle crisps, 2 points a bag.. and much to my horror (and everyone else around me as I paraded the bag around and made sure everyone had a proper look!!) there were 6.. 6!!!! crisps in the bag!!!!.. is this ww's alternative to regular branded crisps?? just putting half a handful in a bag!? if i didn't get the 4 pack in dealz for €1.49 i'd be properly upset!

Shedrawspictures - Snax and Rancheros / Skips are 2pp a bag - no need to just get WW crisps! Walkers baked are 3pp. I do like the WW cakes and stuff though, but find I cannot stop at one anymore. I am considering clingfilling all our biscuits in little sets of 2 so I know each one of 4pp and I cannot eat the whole pack without knowing...but I think the BF might think I have gone insane.

Also Dime bars - 4pp!

As someone who reached goal almost and the put it back on over a 3 years, i know how hard it is. I re did ww and lost one stone but I put back again. took another 2 years before I cracked it.

Girls, you seem to struggle with the snacks. That's makes me think you're hungry so maybe your meals are not sufficent. Up the veg with what are zero points. When I did WW snax were me bad snack of choice. A 500ml bottle of diet coke poured into a pit glass the pangs at bay.

I'm not one sweet stuff but when I do want something 'nice and I do', I buy 2 cookies in Dunnes (love the double choc chip otis ones) or 10 sweets from a pick and mix stand. i like a danish now and again.

I'm under goal for over 2 years (9s 10 or so, goal was 10). I don't point now but do know 2 cookies from dunnes should only be ate once a week or ledd so whenn I have one I enjoy it. The time of the month does come into it, i don't fight it now.

Wish I wasn't a slave to snacks, but I am!!! I think I always will, i'm far too much of a sweet tooth to cut them out entirely, It would be like denying myself and I know I couldn't keep that up, I'd end up caving and piling it all on in a short time.. aw well.. I always said I'd join weight watchers as long as it didn't feel like a diet.. one small change.. one day at a time, all that malarky!.. back to weigh-in tonight after 2 weeks on the beer tonight though... I nailed my food, cooked in our apartment, 3 meals, no dossing... but drank LITRES of beer I can't fore-see good news!

Snacking is totally where I go wrong. My meals are always very healthy, I eat a lot of veg and I wouldn't snack at work. But at home I get bored and snack. I have started buying nail polish again to keep my occupied and am prepaying for WW this week so I have no choice but to go for six weeks and if I don't lose in that time I will not be happy....On Saturday we completely overdid it. We had a movie night and if you saw the amount of crap we got you would probably feel sick!!! I had a talk with himself though and we've both agreed it's not good and we don't actually need to eat the way we are. We're going to make more of an effort to get out doing things as well...
