We get it; it's hard to interpret a theme when you don't want to look like a Goddamn fool. But, from the poor effort most celebrities at this year's Met gala made, they might as well had just themed it Prom Night. Unless some of the dresses were made material made in Nasa or something.
But seriously, Fashion in the Age of Technology isn't even a hard theme. Couldn't they have sewn on some sim cards to their gúnas instead of sequins? There were oh, so many sequins. God, celeb stylists have little to no imagination. Except, Demi Lovato's, who came as close to nailing the theme as possible.
Three reasons why Demi in this Jeremy Scott number fits the bill.

- The '80s style gold embellishment that was very Fashion (with a capital F). Sure, it was Fashion three decades ago, but expect to the print all over scarves in a High Street shop near you very soon.
- The mix of material that includes sequins (I give in, silver and sequins represent technology. Google Alien Robot to confirm).
- Demi's hair was rather Kris Jenner, and with the amount of technology that's gone into making her Kris Jenner, we're taking it.
