Noel Rats Out Liam’s Manscara Habit

Lynnie’s been keeping us well appraised of the current trend for manscara and the like recently. It’s a fast-growing market: YSL have just broken into the high end male beauty market with a Touche Eclat specially for those with X Y chromosones, and Eylure have even brought out a line of false lashes for guys. Lashes? Men? Bah. Men have The Best Lashes Ever already – what do they need more help for!? Clinique say their man-concealer is one of the best selling products on their website too – guys are too embarrassed to purchase in-store it seems.

And now Noel Gallagher has broken his silence on brother Liam’s cosmetic capers. News to me. I thought male grooming to Liam would be something like; sniff, then turn jocks inside out and re-wear, until Nicole (Natalie?) screeches at him to stop;  lash a bit of coal tar soap on, dry off and hope for the best. NuuUhh.

“Liam’s been dyeing his hair for a while. And he wears make-up. I’ve seen him in eyeliner at parties looking like something from A Clockwork Orange”, said Noel in an interview at Contactmusic.com.

That’s not the half of it either. Apparently our kid’s well up on peptides, hyaluronic acid and collagen too.

“And he knows about his moisturiser”, Noel sneakily revealed, adding, “I think he’s trying to head off old age but it’ll catch him.”

Lawks! I know some of you have eeeewwwed before at men wearing makeup so let me ask you this: does the fact that someone so, er, neanderthal, as Liam is into it revise your opinion at all?
