It’s a long way from Charlene’s dungarees: Kylie goes Couture

Kylie Couture

Want to smell like an Aussie pop princess? Course you do! Lucky, then, that Kylie Minogue’s newest scent will be hitting the shelves in February. “Couture” is her fourth foray into the world of fragrance and is billed as a contemporary floral musky fragrance, the most grown up and sophisticated of the quartet.

What you can expect to detect initially with “Couture” are the top notes of amarena cherry, lemon flower and vintage violet, which will give way to the longer lasting middle notes of ylang ylang, night blooming jasmine and passionflower At its heart,so, this is a bit of an exotic animal. At its base are oriental notes of musk ribbons, vanilla sorbet (I *love* sorbet. Whoever came up with the idea of it as a palette cleanser, I salute you. Yum!) and white cedarwood.

And what price to smell like exotic, grown-up Kylie? Well, the 30ml Eau de Toilette’s €24.95 while the 30ml Eau de Parfum will set you back €29.95, and there’s also a 200ml body lotion for €11.95.

Im not a fan of celebrity scents but i have to say all Kylie’s perfumes are really nice. I had Darling and Sexy Darling, loved them both. Cant wait to try this one! :)

    I love her botox!

  • Tiddles says:

Is it just me, or does the bottle remind you of the Christina Aguilera perfume?! Similar colourings or something :s

  • tina says:

oooh, she looks gorgeous! lovely the make up!

  • Miss_M says:

I’m also not really a fan of celeb fragrances, since they all smell pretty generic to me. The only one I liked so far was the first Christina Aguilera fragrance, which I wear during the winter.

I’m curious about this one though, since I love vanilla/musky fragrances.

Tiddles – the bottle also reminds me a bit of Armani’s Sensi.

Oooh would like to try this one…..fab make up….I have her Darling perfume and it’s quite nice….as for celeb perfumes SJP’s Covet is nice as well….

  • Lynnie says:

I’m likin’ her make-up too, but er does anyone think the chap who retouched the pic made a bit of a hash of her eyeshadow..? Her eyelids look madly different to each other!

Either that or her make-up artist needs to seriously work on her “lighter shadow on the inner corners” technique.

  • Gill says:

Jeez, the bottle and packaging are so cheap looking. And her hair!??! Like the lip colour though.
