Aw you lucky duck! Was actually working so missed this…hopefully I’ll get in later in the week as was planning on a visit out to Kildare Village next week..fingers crossed!
congrats Lorraine!
Kildare Village is a BIG LETDOWN compared to its counterparts in the states and even the uk.
I was so excited when i heard this place was opening as its owned by the same people as Woodbury Commons. But im afraid to say it was a big letdown.
That said you can still get some bargains here but i only go cos its near where i live. I wouldnt bother travelling to it if i lived in a different county.
oh didnt mean to take away from the great prize peeps. Sorry if it seemed that way; just wanted to put in my two cents about the village itself.
You will def. find something nice to buy with a 50euro voucher.
is the Ralph Lauren store anything like the one in Woodbury Common? is it worth a trip from Cork!
Hey, Im lovin Kildare Village and i’ll definitely be entering the competition this week as i’d love to win a €50 voucher for Kildare Village.
i was down at the weekend and it was buzzing, really grabs your attention from the motor way, looks all warm and vibrant and it really is. I got some great bargains in Karen Millen and I was really impressed with the new Reiss and the Make up studio! Myself and my boyfriend spent most of the day in their and it was lovely with the wrapped tree and there was a great Christmasy vibe around the place. Gavin lovely gear in Ted Baker and I managed to pick up most of my Chrimbo presents too.
Worth a trip
Katie
Trixielou – nope its def not anything like the one in woodbury common! Save your petrol money and put it towards flights!
I have been to both woodbury and Kildare village and while the USA one is on a different level, you have to remember this is Ireland and we are never going to get the great deals available in the USA
…considering this Kildare village is still pretty good – I have got some nice things in the Karen Millen and the Coast outlet shops. They could do more offers and discounts to be truly worthy of the title of outlet village, but none the less I enjoy stopping in for a browse on the way home from over run and overpriced Dublin !
Thanks for those comments. Next time I’m driving down from Dublin I’ll pay a visit. Woodbury Common is the Best!
