Wrinkle Free Through Hypnotherapy - do You Believe it Could Work?

Hypnox

The botox, fillers, peels and anti-ageing market is a billion Euro one - but as we've said on beaut.ie time and time again, nothing, and I mean nothing, except surgery will get rid of deep-set lines, furrows, and sun damage. No 'miracle' cream from Boots is gonna do the job, and there's a reason why the hapless guinea pigs on 10 Years Younger invariably get subjected to horrible procedures - because it's the only real fix.

Prevention in the first instance is your friend, and that can involve knowing your skin type, using the correct products for it and always wearing sunscreen. You could go down the Eva Fraser route, and do facial exercises to maintain a youthful appearance. Or you could try this new-fangled thing I've been reading about: Hypnox. Based on the idea that stress and worry cause us to frown and furrow, it aims to help relieve stress, and give you smoother skin.

This is the spiel:

Hypnox is a 25-minute hypnotherapeutic audio recording developed as a natural alternative to Botox. Where Botox uses injections to paralyze the facial muscles (making it nearly impossible to frown) Hypnox targets and re-trains those same muscles. The process stops frowning, and allows wrinkles to fade away, permanently.

Guided by the voice of a trained therapist, Hypnox enables a form of focused concentration with a proven capacity to fight unwanted habits. Hypnotherapy has been used successfully by millions of people to quit smoking, and to curb over-eating. Think of persistent frowning as a habit. Now, prepare to break that habit.

So basically, you drop about €40 for a CD (and shipping of said CD), and upon listening to it, you can train your face to de-crease the lines that can be caused by stress and worry. I've heard of brain training - but wrinkle training is a new one on me. Do you believe that this could work, or do you think that a nice cup of chamomile tea and a head-massage would have the same, de-stressing result?
