Last week I was telling you about the Silver Jewelry Club: a company that promises to send you free sterling silver jewellery with semi precious stones, for the price of postage.
Free Sterling Silver with real Gemstones, no catch, no gimmicks, no obligation
I was sceptical originally as it just seemed too good to be true. But I’ve been checking into it and it all seems to be above board. So, unable to resist, I’ve ordered a gorgeous pair of silver and amethyst earrings.
This is how it works. Four pieces of jewellery (it could be rings, earrings, bracelets, pendants, for men or teenagers etc) are displayed for 15 minutes or so. The stones are usually amethysts, garnets, periodots, citrines, topaz and the like – very nice. The clock ticks down and when they’ve had their 15 minutes of fame they’re replaced by other pieces. Click on the item you like and you’ll get lots more details about it – gemstone weight, value of the piece etc. Click on the Get This Free button and you’ll be taken to a page so that you can pay the $8.99 for postage. If you have a Paypal account you can pay this way, but if you don’t then it doesn’t matter. By clicking on the Paypal link you get an option to pay by credit card.
I can’t wait to get my earrings now! And it occurs to me – this could be a great way of picking up some nice Christmas pressies!
Visit The Silver Jewelry Club and see what you think.

Can you let me know if this works out? It does indeed seem too good to be true! I’ve logged on and started to place an order for a beautiful silver ring. However the site asks for lots of detailed information, including phone number, so I’m just not sure that this information will be protected or indeed if there is any privacy policy in place. The last thing I want is to get lots of spam/junk mail or for my contact details to be used in other databases.
Many thanks for all your good work!

I know exactly what you mean Edel! The stuff they have is really nice so you do think – oh come on, this can’t be for real!! But the fact that everything goes through Paypal and they don’t hold any financial details is what reassured me. I will indeed let everyone know what happens – keep your fingers crossed!!
My jewelery has arrived! I went crazy when I got on there and ordered 7 pieces, reassuring myself that they would make great pressies!
Read more about my opinions on all the pieces and the process over at my blog: http://www.blog.ellybabes.com/2006/11/my-free-silver-jewelry-has-arrived.html

I have ordered a ton of stuff from them. It all arrives safely and my paypal account has never been messed with. I say it is a great site!
Yep, agree with you Val – I was very pleased with everything I got too!
THIS SITE IS WONDERFUL. I HAVE ORDERED MANY THINGS FROM THIS SITE. THERE ARE NO CATCHES.
[...] Thanks to a great tip-off from the wonderful girls over at beaut.ie, I ordered my free silver jewelry from http://www.silverjewelryclub.com – like the girls, I was a little skeptical at first, but Aphrodite did a good bit of research into the company in question and it was all above board – though it beats me as to how they are making any money off this! Want to start your private office arms race right now?
I just got my own USB rocket launcher
Awsome thing.
Plug into your computer and you got a remote controlled office missile launcher with 360 degrees horizontal and 45 degree vertival rotation with a range of more than 6 meters – which gives you a coverage of 113 square meters round your workplace.
You can get the gadget here: http://tinyurl.com/2qul3c
Check out the video they have on the page.

Wow lucky you are all. I also ordered from this site, Well after 8 weeks I finally got a order. How ever, not what I had ordered. I had ordered a pair of Huggie Hoops with the 3 stones on them, I got a pair of Teddy Bear Studs, one was broken and the other was all bent. Im not happy at all. I’ve emailed them several times with not ONE reply from them. Glad you all had better luck then I did, I will look around for another site.
