Continuing with the holiday (or lack of it) theme, I spotted this little gem on the wonder that is Strawberrynet and thought one or forty of you might be interested.
It’s apparently a Clinique Travel Set (looks suspicously like a bonus time leftover to me) and it contains moisturiser, body lotion, take the day off lotion, mascara, two lipsticks and that nice stripey bag.
And the price? The recommended retail on it is €51.50 – but sure you can have it for €23.50, a saving of 55%!

Or you can wait until next month when there bonus time will offer you same product for free. (Okay not exactly free but you know what i mean)
Kirstie, that type of product is normal enough sur le continent.
When ever I try to go into the clinique site to search for bonus times it won’t open that page for me. Does anyone else have that problem. I just want to know when the bonus times are on in Kerry and Cork.
Oh remember someone was on about the Clinique toner being used to clean up the make up counter.
Well I saw a big bottle of same at the Smashbox counter with a cloth beside it….yuk yuk yuk…
No way?!!! Crikey…that’s bad!
Speaking of Smashbox though…anyone tried their new bronzer? Tis massive and looks lovely, tried a wee bit on in duty free a while back.
Gio – I would never have even noticed except for reading about it here.
I’m not a bronzer girl at all but smashbox always seem to rate very high here.
I bought Dallas and just hated it whereas other people can’t live without.
I did sample the guerlain on my hand and it looked fab. I refrained from purchaisng due to cashflow considerations…
I’ve only just recently converted to bronzer beautfan…never really got it before and was a bit afraid of applying it incorrectly! Am using a cheap as chips No. 7 one that’s grand for me….the smashbox one did look really lovely though…mite be tempted! Think they had a good deal in duty free too (that was a while ago now though).
Gio – I hope to get the guerlain one in due course cos it seemed light enough for my fair skin.
I have been making a total hash of my fake tan lately so bronzer might help mask the mistakes.
Think Pout had a nice one too that was mentioned here a wee while back…it looked lovely too.
yeah guerlain is really good, cause it comes in different shades, isn’t too shimmery and goes on evenly. i’m pale skinned and blonde and use no 20
beautfan – it;’s me that loves smashbox, I’m a big colour fan and I like their shades and formulations. In fact the more I get by them, the more impressed I am.
I find Clinique toner fantastic for polishing up stainless ste
I love Clinique products but thier dramatically different moisturising gel in nasty….prefer the cream formula
anyone know if the new Bonus time in Arnotts is any good?
Hi Lilo,
It’s not a bonus time offer, as we know it. The deal is that you get your makeup done (for free) and if you buy a product, you get a gift bag type thing – it’s not the same as a bonus time gift though. The girl on the phone told me that it’s mainly purse-sized samples.
I’m going to Arnotts on Saturday anyway with my sister as she’s trying out new foundations and I need to replace my Happy, so I’m buying it anyway but I don’t know if I would go there just to get that offer otherwise. Hopefully they’ll have a purse-sized Happy in it though, I love those!
Betty
PS. It’s not a bag either, more of a…em…packet?
Thanks for the heads up Betty! I need to get all the 3 step stuff again soon so might call into them anyway
