Oh boy, it’s like actual, real lace, isn’t it? Utterly gorgeous, in other words, and possibly too pretty to actually, y’know, use. I should probably stop gushing and start telling you what it is, so here goes: this little pan of pink is Dior Poudrier Dentelle, €57.50 and it comes in Pink Lace, above, and Peach Lace. Both are limited editions so you know the drill – if you want it, get your skates on: the collection lands on the 15th of this month, and I would think it won’t stick about for long.

I LOVE these babies – Dior’s 5 Couleur shadow palettes are absolutely terrific and this one looks great. There are two (as well as one shadow duo) in this line-up and they’re both €55. Above is the 5 Couleurs Iridescent Edition Dentelle and there’s also a 5 Couleurs Edition Dentelle in Coquette version. Both are limited.

The spring look collection also includes lots of other nice goodies like lip products, nail polish and blush, but that’s not all that’s new from Dior. My fave, Diorskin Nude, gets some new stablemates in the form of a concealer (hopefully more about that soon) as well as that lush-looking compact, below.

This is Diorskin Nude Natural Glow Sculpting Powder Makeup and it’s a three-in-one whizzkidd that comes in four shades. It’ll cost €51.50, with refills coming in at €37.50. Use the bottom shade, a foundation first, use the middle stripe to sculpt facial contours and illuminate with the top stripe. You can use them all separately, in conjunction with each other or swirled together for all-over coverage. This’ll arrive on counter on January 15th.

This eyeshadow palette is so pretty, and I could actually wear 4 of them every day. Pink eyeshadow is a big no-no for me :(

  • Efa says:

    Oh I want!!
I’m curious about the concealer too! I need a new bottle of the nude foundation as well!

  • LouLaBelles says:

Oh love that sculpting compact! Cant get enough of Dior the past few months, love all their makeup!

  • ceci says:

I love the look of that compact at the bottom. I often am running late in the mornings and don’t have time to do foundation, so a swirl of that might do the job. I’ll be counting down til payday!

  • BerG says:

‘oh wow’ a sight for sore eyes. Aren’t they just a delight to behold, nearly look too good to use. Makeup one looks like i’m going to have to save up to have it.

  • Chocomoe says:

My boss gave me a Dior set for Christmas and it has made me fall in love with Dior, the eye shadows have such great staying power and such pretty colours. I’m defnitley a Dior convert and will be getting my hands on some of these :)

  • mammyskitchen says:

Just as well they’re not out now since my credit cards not talking to me at the moment!

  • BBG says:

Kirstie, so the bottom one, the compact, that’s all powders, right? A bit like the Guerlain pearls, no? I mean you don’t have to put on foundation before if you don’t want to and it still gives some coverage. Or am I on the wrong track here?

  • Kirstie says:

not really AFAIK but not tried it myself. it’s three in one whereas meteorites is purely a highlighter. this is designed to give coverage, contouring and illumination.

  • BBG says:

Right. It looks covetable anyway. I’ll probably have a looksie when it’s on counter.

  • Kirstie says:

yeah – good plan! stick yer paw into it and see what you reckon!

  • baby in a corner says:

i love the lace blush, not sure would the three in one pallete really work though, the foundation portion looks too small to get your brush into! also love the eyeshadow, the colours are beautiful. i can think of loads of lovely eyeshadow looks.

  • Product Junkie says:

    Hi,

Can you tell me what the Dior Nude foundations are like? At the moment I am using Mac Studio Sculpt however I am always looking for a change and dont have much by this range. Love coverage!

    Please do tell all

  • baby in a corner says:

product junkie, i use it and i have fairly dry skin. Its quite moisturising and dewy, and gives a luminous rather than matte finish. the coverage is medium, it gives your skin a bit of an airbrushed look rather than covering everything up. i really like it and will definitely purchase again! hope this helps!

  • Susan says:

Product Junkie – I really need coverage from foundation & love Dior Nude. It doesn’t feel heavy but still covers everything up. Since I started using it people have even commented on how well I look!

I’m loving all these lovely new things from Dior but after Christmas etc have a feeling I’ll be loving from afar! I’m intrigued about the Nude concealer though. Will prob buy that whenever it makes the shelves.

  • Fee says:

Wow that first compact is one of the prettiest make-up items I’ve ever seen
