“I’m John and he’s Edward. Together we are … John and Edward.”
Eh. Sorry jung’flas, Jedward is really a much better moniker and even though X Factor almost totally passes me by, I couldn’t help but channel my inner Carrie Bradshaw and wonder how the frig the Lucan lads get their barnets so spectacularly bouffed.
And they’re getting bigger by the week: growing to herculean hirsute heights, you could say. So I also couldn’t help but wonder how the backstage team do it. Is it gel? Is it wax? Hairspray, maybe? Sugar and water? Egg whites?
Or, shudder, is it perchance, creme de Jedward? You know what I’m getting at: you’ve seen Something About Mary. Does anything else have the same holding power? Ah well, at least it’s Beaut.ienomical, eh?

OMG I just said the exact same thing to Himself on Sunday night, what else can it be!!
Eeew, Kirstie
I actually sported something similar to a pre-Halloween party some weeks ago. To all of you out there who like strong hold… try Tresemme Freeze Hold hairspray. I hated the brand after trying many a product from them and being dissatisfied with all, but that is one thing that actually does what it’s supposed to be doing: it holds your hair for HOURS. Alright, maybe it won’t be silky soft after you’ve sprayed it on – but that’s hardly surprising eh?
Love their hair. Soap can get it to stand up like that – it’s what the punks use
Yes – I’ve heard a mixture of soap and sugar does the trick!
Trying to get sugar out of your hair would be like pulling candyfloss out of it…ouch!!
Kirstie!!!!!!
hee hee i love Jedward…i KNOW they cant sing but they’re funny…i love their hair
heh heh heh
sorry, me and my dirty mind couldn’t resist
Eeeew!!
Funniest post of the day award by far. What an excellent question too. What I want to know is does it really work?
Peaches Geldof fancies the pair – funnily enough they look like her
Now that is ewwwww
note to self: put down lunch before reading jedward post with Cameron Diaz picture….
Heeheehee
but euuggghhhhhhhh.
Did anyone see the xtra factor where someone asked them about their hair. And they would just run their hands through it and their hair would spring right back to where it was before. V funny! They will defo get offers for hair products after this…….maybe they could replace cheryl cole for Loreal
La Roux is in (I think) Heat this week, lists the 5 or 6 products that it takes to get her hair like it is… but I forget the brand!
JedJuice…performance guaranteed to make your hair stand on end… just like Jedward.
I know a bloke that uses superglue for his mohawk so I guess that could be their secret too
Saw the shout out from the train journey back from Cork – lovely to meet you ladies too & again, many congrats on the book!

Jedward make me laugh – they can’t sing but they are ridiculous enough to be entertaining. I LOVE this video of them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_wfG1CT1rg
Stacey Soloman, Olly Murs and Joe Mceldery are the final three. Each are very good vocalists in their own way and this will be a very tough call for the public to make. One person stands out to us all. Little Joe, he has the looks & the personality and has a great chance of winning. Every week he has had great comments and is cheered every week by the audience. He has not once been in the bottom two.
We wish them all good luck and lets see who wins.
Come on Joe!!!
