I did tease a few of you earlier this week about today’s competition and I think you’ll agree it’s rather fine: FIVE of you lucky bleeders will win One Hot Minute AND Brows-a-go-go. OH YES. Each prize is worth over €70!

So, what’s what?

One Hot Minute is a designed to give a “gaze at me glow” - use it on face, shoulders, decollete and basically anywhere you want eyes to wander to, it’s a rose-gold powder that I now really want, after typing that description.  Brows-a-go-go is Benefit’s new-gen brow kit and contains Brow Zings shaping powders, a tweezers, eye bright highlighter, brush and an eyeliner. Phew!

To be in with a chance to win, check after the cut.

COMPETITION CLOSED!

THE QUESTION: Two-parter: when did I meet Benefit’s founders? And which of their concealers do I really like?

HOW TO ENTER: Send us your two answers plus your NAME and FULL POSTAL ADDRESS to competitions@beaut.ie, marking your entry ‘Benefit’ in the subject line.

THE RULES: One entry per person; you must have an Irish postal address, north or south; there is no cash alternative and our decision is final. Entries must contain the stated entry line above to be included in the draw. The competition closes at 5pm on Friday 16th October 2009. We never share your details with any third party.

  • Diva says:

Nice prize, I’d luv to have a go at filling in/ shaping my brows but have never been brave enough, this set looks good though

  • Doh! I got all excited as desperate to try ‘One Hot Minute’ and was all set to enter…but I don’t live in Ireland…. Good luck to everyone else though!

  • Becky says:

    Definately want this…

  • Maudy Mac says:

Great prize. I luuurve Benefit, and as I am just coming to the end of my eyebrow powder, this prize would be really well timed.

Diva…if you’re looking to fill in your brows, and you want to keep it natural looking this is my fool-proof method…….I would highly recommend a powder (as opposed to a pencil) and Ruby & Millie’s flat angled brush.(this one is just as good as the MAC one, but a quarter the price) Brush all the hairs of your eyebrow down, and then put the power on the root of the hair using light strokes which you can build up until you have the definition you require. Fianlly brush your borws into their normal position and hey presto….beautifully defined brows!!

Oh bejaysus, fingers toes & eyes crossed that this ones for me :) I am in desperate need of a ‘brow-rescue’. Everytime I pluck it seems I create a new shape that just does not suit me! And then I tidy the other one to match, then the other one a bit - I’m not quite resembling a ‘Sharpie Eyebrow’d Gal’ …. but I ain’t ar off I tell ya!

  • Deirdre says:

I need this so much….my brows are awful

  • MiamiMortimer says:

Oh wow, what a thing to have for my upcoming Debs! Am badly in need of some prettifying-and am so fair my brows demand powdering!!!

    Great prize :)

  • KellBell says:

Maudy Mac - great advice there about how to fill your brows. I’ve only ever tried a pencil and i’m pretty sure i could have passed as Groucho Marx after doing my brows.

  • deirdre2603 says:

never filled my eyebrows before. Feels like donatella versace waters….
