Dermalogica used to be my HG skincare range…used nothing else (well, except some La Mer moisturiser when I was lucky enough to have a sizeable voucher for Dundrum) for years but for last couple of years hasn’t been cutting the mustard so I have been chopping and changing…Liz Earle C&P is lovely but I prefer more balmy/oily cleanser and I’m not sure about the moisturiser now. Loving Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil. Will always have a thing for Eve Lom though.
I actually think Vichy is great, especially the price. I chose Clarins here though as it is the one I have most of out of the list. I love their moisturisers and cleansers!
I say it over & over – CLINIQUE. I have very oily troublesome skin, and in the past was full of blackheads & spots of all colours. Makeup wouldn’t stay on more than a few hours and my skin generally in an awful state. Cue clinique, and now I’m all spot free (except for the occasional ‘monthly breakout’). My skin is not as oily, my makeup stays on, and best of all – I don’t feel like I’d scare children if I were to walk out without my slap on
dr hauschka! love the stuff especially the normalising day oil – really sorted out my oily shiny skin. Also liked the clarifying toner and rejuvenating mask which is brill for sorting out spots and moisturising at the same time. Not so sure about the cleansing cream – it was grainy and you had to press and roll it on – no rubbing allowed and it was time consuming to use although I got into the swing of it the more I used it.
I use Liz Earle cleansers, fask masks etc with olay moisturisers. Have tried millions of moisturisers ove the years and always end up back with my trusted olay…
I have to go with something that isn’t on the list…. Decleor! I love it and would never use anything else again! I find it amazing! Cleanser, toner, Moisturiser, Night balms and oils oh I love it!!!!
i have to go w REN
a recent convert but i’m so impressed w all of the products i’ve tried.. and i’ve tried a good few by now!
all round great
the products themselves
the price
packaging [i'm not that bothered by fancy packaging but still, REN do it well]
no nasty chemicals
ethical [they donate 5% of profits to environmental issues]
Lovely, lovely Matis which is one of the few brands (along with Liz Earle) which does not aggravate my hyper-sensitive skin. Pricey but worth it for no flare-ups.
Using Burts Bees Orange Cleanser & it’s fab for taking off makeup & leaving skin soft (doesn’t foam up b/c no SLFs but leaves skin fresh and soft). Also love Avene moisturizer (French brand sold in Boots) – all brilliant for sensitive skin.
I second Dr Hauschka! I’m fully converted to the full range and can’t use anything else now. I strayed for a moment and went back to my Dermalogica moisturizer but it just felt synthetic. I adore the cleansing cream which I use in the shower in the morning, and i just use the cleansing milk at night with a muslin cloth to remove every trace of makeup. I no longer need a cream at night and use just a smidgen during the day as a base for makeup.
Sisley (best creams and serums) and Clarins (body care, exfoliator). These two make products that make my skin truly glow. And maybe a bit from Skinceuticals (non-irritating retinol lotions) and SK-2 (their Skin Refining cream and Clear Skin lotion are both amazing).

I used a sample of Clarins exfoliating scrub the other day and the smell was horrible, reminded me of some bathroom cleaner!
Am loving Yon-Ka recently after a fab facial!

Neostrata……changed my life

Best cleansers. End of.

God please excuse the spelling etc in the last post, its been a long day
It should read ‘face mask’ not fask and ‘over’ not ove…ooops!!!!
Hands down, Liz Earle. Loves it.

Aphro – don’t forget my favourite – La Roche Posay. Wonderful for sensitive skins.
I’ve been a YonKa girl for the past 10 years…love everything about it. It seems to be working.
I’m also too poor this year for anything on the list – ah God be with the days (last year) when everything I had was from those brands.
Now it’s Nivea, No. 7, Olay, Aldi….so boring!
But I have to say Nivea is pretty good for how cheap it is.
Origins is the most beautiful smelling hand cream…smells like oranges, yummm….but L’occitane wins for texture and doing a great job on winter hands!

Was torn between Vichy and Liz Earle but went with Vichy as I own more products from that range. LRP also get the thumbs up from me as does REN.

I’ve tried most of the above and have about two or more products from each range. Mainly like Liz Earle, Dermalogica, Vichy and Origins.
Vichy for sure!
Although, I haven’t tried any of the other brands to be honest
Garnier works well for me too
:]
