If you loved the recently introduced Smokey Eye Trios from Bourjois, then I know you're going to be rushing out to buy the new Effet Smoky eye pencils, €7.99, too.
It couldn't be easier to create the smokey look than this: first line your eye with the pencil, then flip it around and use the handy brush at the opposite end (so much more effective than those sponge tips which often just wipe colour off completely) to gently blend the colour out to a smokey finish.
There are five colours available: Smoked Brown, Dark Purple, Deep Green, Grey Shadow and Intense Black. The shades I tried were Smoked Brown, which is a lovely dark coffee brown, perfect for neutral looks and everyday wear and Grey Shadow, which is an almost silvery grey with blue undertones - perfect for blending out over the eyelid for a pretty Christmas party look.

The consistency is lovely - these glide on smoothly and last perfectly, whether you leave the line unblended for a clean line at the lashes or blend out to get the smokey effect. And best of all, they clean off easily too, so no scrubbing needed to get rid of the dreaded panda effect when you get home late from the Christmas party.
