Mane 'n Tail: horses you have kept this secret to yourselves for too long!

Ah when I saw you Beaut.ies chatting the other day about Mane 'n Tail it reminded me of the story I heard long ago...

Oh it's a story born of legends alright. Apparently celebs who are famed for their beautiful, long, thick locks (or manes if you will) swear by a somewhat unusual equine product. Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Anniston heart Mane 'n Tail.

Yes that's right. It's a horse grooming product. Horses have hair three times thicker than humans and so it takes an extra effective shampoo and conditioner to cleanse and moisturise their glossy hair. Plus horses also suffer from dry and frizzy hair - just like us!

Gather closer children and I'll continue my story. So people started to use the original formula Mane 'n Tail, It worked so wonderfully well that its makers thought ca-ching! And so the human version of Mane 'n Tail was born. And born in many forms. Shampoos, conditioners, detangling sprays, leave in conditioners, deep conditioners - the whole shooting gallery.

Cheap as chips (starting from about $1 in the States), there's also a product for nails - hilariously called Hoofmaker. Have a look on medshopexpress.com who ship to Ireland.

Neigh, are we loving it - what do you think? Has anyone tried it?
