Aphrodite gave us the lowdown on IPL and laser hair removal a while ago and now it seems you can do it for yourself, as Boots has just started selling an at-home Intense Pulsed Light machine called Boots Smooth Skin. €314.99 is the hefty price tag, but the company claims you'll get permanent results - if used correctly.
Now, we all know that's not entirely true, and I'd also imagine this feller is nowhere near the intensity of the really good, in salon machines, but it may well be worth a gander if you've been through the IPL / laser mill and want something to zap those occasional hairs that reappear without having to pay salon or clinic prices.
The thing I like most about it is the surprised face on the laser head - "OH NOES!!", is what it appears to be saying. "OH NOES DON'T PUT ME NEAR YOUR SKIN!" Methinks a smiley face would have been more confidence-inspiring.
