By now a lot of you will have seen the preparations for the new Mac Shop in Henry St. And it's going to be a proper Mac shop - like the type you'd see in the States for instance, not just a concession crammed into a corner of a department store.
For too long Mna n hEireann have had their Mac purchasing relegated to Department Stores and the airport.
NO MORE!
Mac want to branch out and really wanted the Henry St move. They badly needed their own shop and where better than in one of Ireland's busiest shopping streets - the biggest New Look in the world and I'm guessing the biggest Penneys in the universe; Jervis shopping centre with the humongous Forever 21; Arnotts, Debenhams and every high street shop you can name.

What I find absolutely hilarious about the whole thing though is that BT are coming with them. Brown Thomas on de Nortside! Ah girls, the world is changing when Brown Thomas move over the river. (Don't worry, they're only expanding a bit over the river - they will never leave Grafton St!)
The opening is this morning and I'll have pics and more info later. I couldn't make it in myself this morning but Mac have faithfully promised me to send on their snaps of the opening - so I'll update this post when I get them!
