There’s enough drama between the judges of these shows alone to not even need the contestants.
Things have been getting increasingly tense between X Factor judges Nicole Scherzinger and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
During a Press Association series launch yesterday, Nicole awkwardly blanked a question asked about her predecessor:

Cheryl was fired after a month on the US version of X Factor because audiences couldn’t understand her Geordie accent. She was quickly replaced by Scherzinger but she was also dropped after just one series. She then became a judge on the UK show, again taking Cheryl’s place (though in fairness, the Girls Aloud star did quit to follow her career in music).
Cheryl previously claimed in her 2012 autobiography, My Story, that Nicole had once sang hit song Promise This to her and that ‘it was just so awkward.’ Nicole said the story had been exaggerated.
Things are getting a bit catty.
