Whitney Houston's Daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, Has Died

The daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown died yesterday at the a hospice center in Duluth, Georgia.

Brown was found unresponsive in a bath in her Georgia home on January 31st, with bruises on her body. She was put into a medically induced coma in hospital and never regained consciousness. On June 24th, she was moved to the local hospice after her aunt - Pat Houston - and her father Bobby Brown decided it was for the best.

The Houston family released the following statement: "She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”

As many outlets are pointing out this morning, while her family will find a certain amount of peace themselves now that the 22-year-old has passed after six months of intensive care, they now have to deal with the launch of a murder investigation.

The Fulton County D.A. have reportedly said: "In view of the new circumstances regarding the health status of Bobbi Kristina Brown, we will be reviewing the case with greater interest." The person they're most interested in is her partner Nick Gorden.

Bobbi Kristina's mother, Whitney Houston, was found submerged in a hotel bath tub after a drugs overdose in 2012.

Since news broke of the 22-year-old's passing yesterday, Twitter has seen the expected influx of tributes from names such as Oprah Winfrey, Kylie Jenner, La Toya Jackson, Leona Lewis, Taraji P. Henson, and Vivica A. Fox.

Her mother's official Facebook page had this tribute alongside the below photo: "Bobbi Kristina Brown (March 4, 1993 – July 26, 2015). It is hard to say goodbye. On Sunday, July 26, Bobbi Kristina Brown made her transition peacefully. The family thanks everyone for their loving thoughts and prayers. As Bobbi Kristina would say: ‘The wind is behind me and the sun is in my face'."
