Summer Solutions for Oily Skin

I don't suffer from oiliness at all. In fact, I would have exceptionally dry skin and constantly need to douse myself in moisturiser and serums and anything in general that is moisture infused. But, this led me to think about summer and what people with oily skin do throughout the summer months, something I never thought about before. How do they wear the right sun protection factor by way of creams, lotions and oils without making their skin break out?

I wanted to look into this a little bit more and thankfully I found a moisturiser and a sunscreen with an SPF of 40 that are completely oil free! These products are by a brand called Glo Therapeutics which is available from http://www.skinlogiconline.com

Firstly, the Oil Free Sunscreen with SPF40 is suitable for all skin types but is especially suited to oily skin types. This sunscreen provides broad spectrum protection from the sun's damaging rays while nourishing antioxidants fortify the skin.

You are directed to apply this sunscreen 15 minutes before exposure to the sun and are advised to reapply after swimming or perspiring as it isn't waterproof.

This Oil Free Sunscreen by Glo Therapeutics will set you back €31 for a 50ml bottle, handy for taking in your carry on luggage. It also boasts a pump action applicator which makes it so easy to apply, no mess and no greasy fingers.

I also found an oil-free moisturiser by Glo Therapeutics which will aid the skin's recovery after sun exposure but the oil-free element will also help prevent clogged pores and breakouts.

This beautifully scented, light-textured cream moisturises and balances the skin with botanicals and essential hydrators. Infused with Hyaluronic Acid, it promises to help retain over a 1000 times its weight in water within the cells of skin.

Providing moisture to oily skin can be tricky without antagonising a breakout, but those with oily skin-types need to restore the moisture back into the skin, and especially after exposure to the sun. Vitamin E extracts and Algae also help prevent blocked pores, minimising breakouts. This moisturiser will set you back €39.
