We are all so over contouring. Well, most of us are. I was at Longitude at the weekend and the number of very young ladies done up like they were going to perform a show in Vegas was astounding. So many of them were plastered in heavy makeup, contoured like the Kardashians with Cleopatra eyes to match.
That's not the point, however. The point is we are into the natural look (ahem, right now) and strobing is where it's at. It hasn't exactly changed our world but this highlighting lark has made us look younger and brighter and more 'natural' in quite some time. It's about enhanching your features, not creating a new face.

An amazing makeup or beauty trick comes around so rarely but once one sticks it can be life changing. Perfecting that cat eye flick changed people's opinion of their teeny tiny peepers (hey, they look so wide!) applying the perfect primer made believe believe that their skin could look smooth and even.
