He's Flying! See the First World Record Breaking Hoverboard in Action

Do you fly or drive a hoverboard?

Alexandru Duru became the first person ever to break the Guinness World Record for the 'Farthest journey by hoverboard' last year after traveling 275.9 m over Lake Ouareau in Quebec, Canada in August.

Duru's propeller-based hoverboard is more like something the Green Goblin would use in 'Spider-man' than the one from 'Back To The Future II', but that doesn't stop it being hella impressive.

We are quite impressed with his hovering prowess; the only question now is when can we have a shot?

We're still bowled over by the fact that iPads are practically what Captain Picard used in space in Star Trek: The Next Generation. What 'futuristic' things would you like to see brought to real life?
