Friday Feelings: Do Certain Scents in Products Put You Off?

This week I tried a new supposed miracle blow-dry spray from Color Wow. Speed Dry promises to magically (well, scientifically, but magic and science are interchangeable, right?) reduce the time you spend drying your hair so that less heat damage will be caused.

It's geared towards those with coloured hair which can actually sometimes take longer to dry than un-dyed because of the chemicals within the strands. Fun fact of the day. I never really thought about it before to be honest. Anyway, where was I? Oh yes, I tried it out last night. My hair is dyed but only with a 24 wash kit so maybe you need to have a heavier duty dye job to see results. Because I didn't. At least I don't think I did. I really need to give it another go, then I'll let you know for sure.

Moving on, the smell. I did not like the fragrance of Color Wow Speed Dry at all, at all. I can't put my finger on it but there's a whiff of something quite herb-y about it that's just not for me. I am going to give it another try for research purposes but I will be putting a close peg on my snout while I do so. And then I'll be spraying my hair perfume over it.

My tracksuit does NOT smell. Much.

So, is there any makeup or skincare product that you want to like / would use if it wasn't for the scent? Is there a particular fragrance that gives you the heebie-jeebies? Do fragrances in general put you off products? Let's share our feelings on the matter this Friday.
