As things go, less is usually more. Simple is elegant and minimal is classy. True that! But throwing all that out the window today we’re going to look to the little yet different details that can bring so much fabulosity to your wardrobe.

First up I’m loving these totally adorbable Hashtag studs from new Irish jewellery brand Edge Only. As someone who thinks in hashtags and tweets they are so much fun. Classy but with a very modern twist. I know we said simple was being thrown out the window today but simple doesn’t need to mean boring and who can resist the cuteness of a simple yet mysteriously revealing initial necklace; there are an endless array of available these days but this one from Irish label Chupi is my favourite. Turning an all-black outfit into something wow has never been easier thanks to the River Island cuff which, in all it’s futuristic glory, is rocking it’s way to the top of my own wishlist right now. I know we’re here to talk about jewels and all things dangly but let’s face it, jewels need a home when not being worn and My Shinning Armour has an amazing collection of fabulously hilarious jewellery bags that can double up as a clutch.
Statements need not be so loud as to scream of fabulousness but sometimes rather a little touch of elegance in a distinctly different way can be enough. Calling on the ever trustworthy Penneys I really love this cute hand chain which when worn adds just the right amount of tres chic.
My Shinning Armour are a brand I’m loving for so many reasons lately and making a statement with earrings is their forte; these Vivienne beauties go perfectly with just about every outfit option from casual day wear to night time glamour. Don’t be afraid to rock a little bling in the day ladies, it’s totally allowed.
And I couldn’t agree more with Accessorize that it’s never too early to get ready for summer, their take on the anklet is making me dream of sandy days at the beach and cocktails by the pool.. Again, just something a little different that makes a subtle statement.

Possibly my favourite statement piece from the edit, this harness from River Island is exactly what chic is all about. Come hail, rain or shine it’s an investment piece that will forever find a place in your life. Wear it with a boob-tube dress or top, under an open white shirt or over a black knit and you’ll shine bright like a statement-jewel QUEEN.
