What's in Your Shower RIGHT NOW?

It's been too long since we had a good old rummage through each other's cosmetic and skincare stashes. So today we're wondering what's in YOUR shower?

Here's the thing that the instant gratification junkie in me struggles with - shampoos, conditioners, shower gels…they all last forflippinever. I like them for the first week and then I get bored of coconut/vanilla/strawberry. So I want to dip into everyone else's shower products (vicariously, obvs, it would be odd if you pulled back the curtain to find my grinning head lurking around the towel rail).

And then Dympna realised she had left her shampoo in her gym bag And then Dympna realised she had left her shampoo in her gym bag

If a product is going to live in my shower for a few weeks (and lookit, I'll be honest - as it gets towards the fourth week I start using big dollops of the product in an attempt to use it up. Does anyone else do this?), it has to be worthy of its place on the Shower Shelf of Fame.

  • Redken Shampoo and Conditioner

redken_extreme_entire_bundle_1_1I live in fear of Candy Floss hair - you know that over processed, fluffy hair that blondes run the risk of sporting on their noggins? So my battered locks get exactly what they want. And what they want is Redken Extreme. This shampoo and conditioner has been living in my shower for months. Yes, I get bored and flirt with other brands but as soon as I suspect that I am turning into a sugar spun sister, I reach for the strawberry-scented blue bottles.

Leave a hair masque in for three minutes? Ain't nobody got time for that. Gone in sixty seconds is more my speed. I pop in one of these little fellas about once a week (I found a bundle of them in a box when I unpacked in my new house and did a little happy dance. Not sure the neighbours have forgotten about that yet). It delivers soft hair without the fuss and for the impatient amongst us, I'd recommend its fast ways.

  • Rituals Yogi Flow Foaming Shower Gel

I get all zen with my shower gel, Rituals Yogi Flow has been cleansing my skin and chakras of late. It lathers up luxuriously and smells divine. I'm hoping that as the mornings get darker and I get lazier about leaving the duvet cocoon, my Yogi friend will entice me to greet the day.

So tell us, what's on your Shower Shelf of Fame? Do you use up every product before you replace them or is your bathroom littered with the carcasses of half-used bottles (in which case I'm not sure we can be friends. Either that or I'll have to clean your bathroom before we have tea). And if your answer to the question is Tom Hardy, then you win.
