Is it just me or is anyone else a bit...discombobulated...by the new ad on TV for Vichy's latest anti-ageing cream?
I can't tell you what it's called, just that it's unpronounceable and contains equally unpronounceable ingredients.
But the woman in the ad is what's alarming - she's wearing this sort of animated corset neck brace thing, no doubt designed to give us a reassured feeling that this product will support and care for our skin. But no - instead I am thinking of those Kayan ladies in Burma who get their necks all stretched out with metal hoops, and if they ever take them off, they die.
Way to go Vichy.
