Shygirl she doesnt get on with anyone, god t was so terribly awful, I couldn’t even enjoy food, she is horrible telling the boy he needs to join the gym and he has lovely chubby cheeks on him etc etc… Ugh!!

If she is that bad could you just tell your fella that the two of ye just don’t get on, and you’d rather not do things like sunday lunches as you find it upsetting and stressful?

Families can be actually painful can’t they? I have relatives and if I wasn’t related to them I would not even talk to them. You just have to hold your tongue and let a lot out over your head!

Thanks girls, I live it, just wish I could eat in it too as it’d be perfect for weddings & such.. Hmm the frog that sounds just lovely =( Ahh well, you’ll get to gorge yourself on wine, bread & cheese then being your birthday en all….there’s always an upside.

@EvieM, it’s lovely, very elegant. Nice that your efforts paid off. My jeans were a bit tight yesterday, so here’s my motivation for the next weeks (cutting down on dairy and bread, no alcohol, no cheese. They’ll stripped me of my nationality next).

And here’s to family lunches! Got one planned for my bday in a couple of weeks: divorced grand parents who haven’t seen each other for 5 years (one being my recently widowed grandad), cousins I don’t like. Talk about a bday….

Co feeling your pain. Meeting an Aunt for coffee and an Inquisition next weekend. There is a pair of them and nothing I do is ever good enough. Going with the Mammy so cant have a few drinkd before hand.
