I’m the same as far as moisturizers are concerned.
I need some heavy duty stuff I won’t be too worried about spending.

I don’t think Aveeno’s available in our market, but I’ll be sure to check it out if they ever appear on our shelves.

LRP Lipikar Baume AP is great is you get really dry and itchy. It moisturises, but also (as it was designed for eczema) de-itches. I’m violently allergic and violently addicted to woolies and I can’t live without it.

The Hydraphase cream by La Roche Posay has been my absolute savior this winter! I never used to have problems during wintertime, but for some reason my skin has been painfully dry this year. The Vichy mask sounds lovely, might give that a try!

Lynnie, it’s brilliant. I was in Liffey Valley meeting my friend and saw myself in the mirror of GBK, to my horror under the harsh lights it looked awful, I nearly burst into tears honestly as it’s dry but also spotty especially in the chin hormone spot department, I went to Boots in a flap and bought it thinking “this will never work”, have only used it once and you can see the difference already, use a good moisturiser or the Vichy mask afterwards and you’ll be only gorgeous.
My skin is a pain in the arse, it’s sensitive, oily and dry all at the same time. As I said I assumed just oily so was using the Normaderm range but it made my skin worse. I now use the Aqualia Anti Ox (in the jar not the tube) and have found it brilliant, it’s great under make up too which is my favourite thing about it. Using the Trilogy rosehip face oil too at night time and finding that really good although it doesn’t smell great.

Ooh Babs it sounds like we are skin sisters! That’s great to hear that you got on well with the No7 microdermabrasion stuff; I am almost out of my lovely Origins Modern Friction and fancy a change, might give it a whirl

Oh I heart that Vichy mask, I have oily / combination skin that dries out in the wind and cold and is also sensitive (pain in ASS). I was under the assumption that a moisturising mask would make me get spots because I was convinced I had oily skin, until I got my skin analysed, found the Vichy mask and hey presto, lovely skin.
I bought a No7 microdermabrasion scrub thing in Boots Liffey Valley the other night, it’s amazeballs at getting rid of all the peely bits that were on my face and then lashed on the Vichy mask and I have lovely skin – YAY!!!
